Friday Craft Club do it again…
I caught up with Hettie Heffern from the Friday Craft Club recently where she told me how busy they have been.
“We counted the items we have made since September and packed them up to take to the Royal Maternity Neo Natal Unit. The inventory of knitted items came to: 48 baby body warmers, 14 cardigans, 126 hats, 30 pairs mittens, 22 pairs bootees and 25 blankets! We have had help from a few friends for which we are very grateful”
Hettie and the ladies certainly aren’t sitting on their laurels …”Our new project is underway where we are knitting hats and scarves for the homeless”.
Keep checking here to find out how they get on, and if you feel you want to be part of this highly satisfying production line… or even want a chance to develop or share your own skills. Drop us a line and we will point you in the right direction. Well done ladies!

Food, fellowship and fun… Everyone welcome!
It is with great sadness…
It is with great sadness that we bring you the news of the passing of Mrs Joan White. Joan along with her husband Bob were much loved founding members of Mossley Methodist Church. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this time.
The funeral service will be held at Mossley Methodist Church on Wednesday 3rd of December 2014 at 12.30pm.
