ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Even though current restrictions from the NI Executive have changed, The Methodist Church in Ireland (along with the other main denominations throughout the Provence) have decided, for the time being, that we WILL CONTINUE to wear masks throughout the service. Please respect this to insure you and your fellow worshippers (particularly the vulnerable) safety.

The Methodist Church in Ireland also has asked EVERYONE to ensure that they take up the vaccination.

Audio Video Sermon by Rev Sam Campbell of both Mossley and Greencastle Methodist Churches
1 Kings 5:13-18

13 King Solomon conscripted labourers from all Israel – thirty thousand men. 14 He sent them off to Lebanon in shifts of ten thousand a month, so that they spent one month in Lebanon and two months at home. Adoniram was in charge of the forced labour. 15 Solomon had seventy thousand carriers and eighty thousand stonecutters in the hills, 16 as well as thirty-three hundred[a] foremen who supervised the project and directed the workers. 17 At the king’s command they removed from the quarry large blocks of high-grade stone to provide a foundation of dressed stone for the temple. 18 The craftsmen of Solomon and Hiram and workers from Byblos cut and prepared the timber and stone for the building of the temple.

1 Timothy 6:17-19

17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
