The MWI annual end of year outing proved very promising as the ladies met at 10am on Saturday morning. As the coach arrived along with the sun also making an appearance, there was time to take just a few moments before heading off for everyone to pose for a group shot.
The day began in sunny Dungannon and the Linen Green, with morning coffee in The Yard. Then heading off to Killyman and St Andrew’s Parish Church to their fund raising exhibition ‘Four Seasons and a Wedding’. There we also got to enjoy, with kind permission, to chance to sit in a few of the motor exhibits.
Next we were hijacked by the minister and whisked off to lunch, served up my the lovely ladies of the parish. We couldn’t have received a warmer welcome and would sincerely like to thank all those envolved for extending their hospitality and wish them all the best in their building venture.
After lunch, back on the coach and off to Cookstown for a bit of retail therapy and an attempt to pick up a bargain ‘souvenir’.
Thank you Sandra Conroy for all your organising, we really had a fab day. Looking forward to Septembers programme and all you have in store for us. Enjoy your summer ladies!
