Something’s growing at Mossley this spring 🌱
“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
— Matthew 28:20
That’s the promise tucked at the end of Jesus’ great commission. Not a command without a companion, but an invitation held in the assurance of presence.
This spring, we’re exploring what it might mean to live out that invitation together. Not as a programme or a push, but as something that grows naturally from who we already are.
Organic Outreach for Churches is a 9-week journey we’re taking as a congregation, guided by the teaching of Kevin Harney. It’s not about committees or campaigns. It’s about something simpler and deeper — allowing a love for God, for people, and for one another to quietly reshape the way we do church life.
Over nine weeks we’ll explore loving God, loving the world, and loving the Church. What it costs to truly love the world around us, how our shared life together can become an outreach in itself, and the small, practical shifts that open doors we didn’t know were there.
Sessions run weekly, beginning this Wednesday evening at 7:30pm in Mossley Methodist Church. All are welcome. No experience of evangelism required, just an open heart.
“Outreach isn’t something a committee does on our behalf. It’s what happens when love for those around us stops being occasional and starts shaping everything we do, in every part of church life, in every one of us.”
— Rev Sam Campbell
