Mossley Church Dinner

A great success and turn out for our annual church dinner at Corrs Corner.

See the gallery below for all the smartly turned out Mossley folk.

The food was awesome and the after dinner ‘Quiz-a-la-colin’ was really great fun. Although I suspect That during the quiz I wasn’t the only person with self inflicted bruising under the table … grimacing to those ‘oh I could kick myself’ moments.

Thank you to Christine and Tommy for organising. It really was a lovely night.

Mossley Methodist Ramblers – Jan | Feb | Mar 2018 walks

Hi all, I decided to give you a chance to plan ahead this year and post the next three walks that will lead us into early Spring

First off Stormont Estate Jan 27th, followed by Antrim Castle Gardens 24th Feb and then Silent Valley 10th March. All these walks are an easy grade (see below for grades and advice) Everyone is welcome, to join via Facebook follow this link MOSSLEY METHODIST RAMBLERS where you will be able to view full details and times. Plus any last minute changes.

Alternatively if you are not on Facebook I will post the next three walks here again for your diaries. Feel free to FOLLOW (tab below) this website for those updates, and any other events or notices relating to the Mossley Methodist community.

I advise a healthy level of fitness that takes into account distances from anywhere between 2 – 5 miles. This will be clearly stated on any given walk.

EASY = flat terrain, covering roads, gravel paths and woodland treks

MODERATE = as above but with low gradient or short climb involved

MODERATE + = as above but hill climb and assent involved

(The rambling club will NEVER attempt MODERATE ++ or EXTREME grades. These would take in extended routes through Heath land and over mountains)

Rest assured all walks are leisurely with the aim to appreciate creation, enjoy fellowship and promote a health state of mind.

REMEMBER to dress for the unpredictable weather conditions of this fair isle. I.e. Waterproof coat and good walking shoes / boots highly advised for safety.

All walks subject to change. Weather dependant. NO DOGS PLEASE.
