Youth Fellowship Newsletter: Spring/Summer 2017
- JUNIOR YOUTH FELLOWSHIP for ages 7 – 12 year olds:
presently we have 17 members attending. Runs on Sundays from
6pm – 7:30pm.
From NOVEMEBER we have covered GODS PROMISES, HARVEST and THE TRUE CHRISTMAS STORY. Junior Youth Fellowship also took part in both HARVEST and CAROL SERVICES.
In JANUARY we studied the Life of Jesus, leading into the Easter Story. Our children actively engage in praying and singing together at the beginning of every meeting. Then took the Sunday Service on June 18th giving our congregation a chance to see what they have been up to.
JUNE 25th marked the end of the YF year by Simon and I having the young people to our home for pizza and games.
Please pray for our children, especially for new ideas on how to introduce them into our church family. We hope you catch our vision in seeing these young people grow into men and women with a heart for God, their church and their community. Even more than this we would welcome and love to see their families attending our church, organisations and events too.
“We are excited to see what September brings. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Many blessings.”
Elaine Gowdy, Youth Leader.
